Your bike feels weak, drinks more fuel or won't idle. We ride it, find the cause, then tune it. If the engine is worn, we tell you and quote before we open it.

Engine overhaul: Pulsar, NS 200, Dominar
Sometimes the engine itself is worn: valves, guides, the cylinder. Tuning won't fix that. We show you what we found and quote a cylinder head or half engine overhaul before we start.
We take the engine apart, have worn parts machined at a lathe shop, replace every worn part and put it back together: 3 to 7 days. We rebuild Pulsar, NS and Dominar engines and common 100–250 cc bikes.

Fine tuning questions
- What is bike fine tuning?
- A tune-up that brings back pickup, a steady idle and mileage. We clean the carburettor or the FI throttle body, set idle and mixture, clean or replace the spark plug and air filter, and check valve clearance.
- How much does fine tuning cost?
- Labour starts from NPR 155 for a carburettor clean and tune-up, and NPR 265 for an FI throttle body clean. Parts like a spark plug or air filter are extra, quoted after we check the bike. The check is free.
- My bike has lost power and mileage. Is it tuning or the engine?
- We test-ride it and check first. Most bikes need a tune-up. If the valves or cylinder are worn, we show you and quote an overhaul before we start.
- Do you tune FI bikes?
- Yes. We clean and set up the throttle body on FI bikes from all the brands we work on. We don't remap ECUs.
- How long does it take?
- Most tune-ups take under two hours, so you can wait in the café. An engine overhaul takes 3 to 7 days, because worn parts are machined at a lathe shop and replaced before we put the engine back together.
